Jen Hartswick & Nick Cassarino
Jen Hartswick & Nick Cassarino
This is an exciting new project between old friends. Jen met Nick when he was only 14 years old when she was judging a contest at his high school and was blown away. She also brought him to his first festival ever in 2011. They have played together in several different projects from then until now (Van Ghost, Nth Power, etc) as well as having success with their own individual projects - most notably Jen being a mainstay with Phish frontman's Trey Anastasio Band and Nick being one of the founders of The Nth Power. These shows will see the duo play material from Jen’s forthcoming album as well as other selections that come from each of their past projects.

Jennifer Hartswick is one of the most exciting performers in music today. She inspires audiences all over the world with her powerful voice and commanding trumpet playing. She exudes confidence and joy and brings her own refreshing spirit to the stage every time she performs. Jennifer’s music is honest, soulful and comes with a maturity far beyond her years.

Nicholas Cassarino was born in Vermont into a musical family and grew up in the Burlington area.
> He started singing publicly at age 5 and picked up guitar at age 11. At age 21 he moved to Brooklyn and began playing gospel music with David Bratton and the Spirit of Praise. He then joined NYC hip hop conglomerate The Lifted Crew and began touring and backing Slick Rick and Big Daddy Kane.
> In 2012 he formed the Nth Power (https://www.facebook.com/TheNthPower/) with Nikki Glaspie and Nate Edgar and they are currently touring and releasing music.
