These musicians met and collaborated through their work with the Artist in Residence program at the Music Center at Strathmore. This evening will include original and traditional music from China to Mali, from DC to Trinidad and beyond. Add a little jazz or boogie woogie and we’re happening. Expect the unexpected; a Chinese dulcimer and steel pan duet, balafon and band, jazz and pop vocals, maybe even a little Klezmer.
