Now I Play Along Too (NIPAT) is a not for profit charity that focuses on improving the lives of disadvantaged kids through the gift of music. Inspired by the gift of an anonymous person, the band Melodime started the charity to continue the story and provide opportunities to others that otherwise wouldn’t have been able to afford them.

NIPAT accomplishes this by providing music instruments and funding for lessons to regularly practice and perform music. We believe the rigorous process of learning, practicing, and performing a musical instrument has a dual purpose to build character and discipline to help overcome obstacles.

W. Clement Stone famously said, "you are a product of your environment." No one exemplifies this idea more than Nashville-based singer/songwriter/producer, Brent Shuttleworth. His music draws from everywhere he's ever been and from everyone he's ever met. Brent moved frequently growing up which provided both musical and cultural influences from a variety of east coast locations including New York City, Boston, New Jersey, New Hampshire, Maine and Florida as well as a life-changing residency in Cape Town, South Africa. In 2014, Brent moved to Nashville, TN where he honed his skills amongst the finest songwriters in the world. In 2017, his EP "Feels Like Flying" was released independently to critical acclaim and a fervent fanbase leading to a tour of 150 dates in a 12 month period.

In addition to Brent's music being featured on VH1, MTV, NBC and CBS he has also shared the stage with a diverse variety of acts including George Clinton, Robert Randolph, K Flay, Kellie Pickler, The Push Stars as well as renown poets Carlos Andres-Gomez and Saul Williams.
