About This Event
On Sunday January 16 Please join us as we welcome Baked Shrimp, The Sweet Life and Natalie Brooke Band to our stage for a night of high energy funky grooves.
This is a FREE SHOW!!
Baked Shrimp: Voted a finalist for New York State’s top up and coming rock band, Baked Shrimp has established a name for themselves across the eastern half of the United States. In just four years the high-energy rock trio has performed multiple extensive tours, released three albums, and is a name well-known in the festival circuit. Baked Shrimp has billed with artists such as Dweezil Zappa, Lotus, Spafford, moe., Ghost-Note, Twiddle, Kung Fu, Mark Letteri, Aqueous, Mungion, and more on festivals such as Great South Bay Music Festival (NY), Karnival of the Arts (PA), Adirondack Independence Music Festival (NY), and more. The band has featured sit-ins by Mihali Savoulidis and Ryan Dempsey (Twiddle), Rob Compa (Dopapod), Mike Gantzer (Aqueous), and Brandon “Taz” Niederauer. Baked Shrimp is rapidly making new fans outside of their home-base of New York on their tours which land them as north as Maine, as west as Indiana, and as south as Alabama. The trio keeps it fresh from night to night with a catalogue of over one-hundred songs of original material. They are consistently asked back by venues and fans across the country.
The Sweet Life: The Sweet Life is like a big, funky bowl of soup. They blend genres – mixing together different ingredients like Electronic-Rock with a little jammy salt and pepper, and a hint of spicy psychedelic, topped with a little dance party garnish (because it’s all about presentation) to serve to you, the perfect combination for the best ear pleasing, rump shaking, head banging, foot stomping bowl of soup that you’ve ever had.
Natalie Brooke Band: Natalie Brooke brings the dance, the funk, & rock and roll to the stage as one of DCs most prominent and exciting keyboard/synth players. Her sets feature original music that is energetic, dramatic and varied in style; commanding female led vocals; and extended jams where she and the boys take the audience on electrifying musical journeys. Natalie Brooke as an artist has performed with Everyone Orchestra alongside Vernon Reid (Living Colour), Josh Shwartz (Turkuaz) and Robert Randolph, and opened up for bands such as Tauk, Spafford, Space Bacon, and Electric Love Machine. Natalie Brooke and her band bring a vibrant and thrilling experience to each audience they get in front of.
