Hailing from the Hampton Roads area of Virginia, country artist TracieLynn is not afraid to make a statement with her music. Coming from a musically inclined family, Tracie knew a very young age that singing and performing on stage was exactly what she wanted to do. Tracielynn’s powerhouse vocals set her apart from the pack, but it’s her ability to be bold and honest in her approach that makes her unforgettable. “Keeping country music, country music is something that has always been important to me. I’ve always been drawn in by more-so the traditional kind of country sound I grew up with“. Tracie started singing and performing on stage at the age of 7. “The “music bug” is something that consumed me at a very young age. I want my music to be real and raw. I don’t want my listeners just hearing it; I want them to feel it and be able to relate to it. That is what is most important to me”.

Nestled between Baltimore, MD and Washington, DC, Sarah Beth Driver creates unique pop-rock songs that wrestle with highs and lows of everyday life. Her bright, carefully-crafted tunes draw inspiration from the spirit of power-pop, the energy of rock, and the inner-curiosity of post-punk. Her debut single, “Letters From Mars”, explores the questions and experiences of the last Summer before college, a time when warm evenings, close friends, and general contentment are haunted by an uncertain and ever-looming future. “I wanted to write a song about being young before I got too old”, says Sarah. “I was listening to a lot of early Bruce Springsteen at the time [I wrote the song], and it truly inspired me. I suppose ‘Letters From Mars’ is my ‘Born to Run'”.

Caleb Caudle

Forsythia, the latest studio LP offering from Caleb Caudle out 10/7/22 via Soundly Music, is a portrait of his truest self, of the artist at his most solitary and reflective. Thematically, it meets anticipation for the unknown future with nostalgia for the past, and reconciles both with meditation in the present. The album was recorded at the legendary Cash Cabin during the pandemic, and inspired by the solitude and symbols Caudle found in nature during that time. It?s produced by John Carter Cash, and features veteran session players Jerry Douglas, Sam Bush, Dennis Crouch and FredEltringham, and the vocal talents of Carlene Carter, Elizabeth Cook and Sarah Peasall McGuffey. Simplistic arrangements in which Caudle was the only guitarist built a framework for space that is filled intentionally so that the songs themselves can be heard and appreciated without an overcrowding of instrumentation. This collection of 10 songs serves as a manifesto of Caudle?s beliefs and simplest desires.

Music, which has always been a crucial part of Timbers’s life, was more important than ever. The son of a local Gospel singer, Timbers found his passion for music where most great musicians find theirs–in church. At the age of 9, Timbers picked up the guitar and never looked back.

While attending university with the intention of becoming a veterinarian, Timbers decided to pause his education to take his love of music more seriously. In 1994 he formed the Virginia-based blues band, Less Traveled, with himself as the frontman and lead songwriter. The band found success with their self-produced album Nobody, which developed their following and led to multiple touring opportunities. After sharing the stage with acts such as Agents of Good Roots, Merl Saunders (Jerry Garcia Band), and Tim Reynolds (Dave Matthews Band and TR3), Timbers began to gain recognition as a songwriter and landed an endorsement with Canadian manufacturing company Godin Guitars.

After many years with Less Traveled, Timbers decided to strike out on his own and move to New York City. While in “the City That Never Sleeps”, Timbers continued to work on his unique style and technique while becoming a standout favorite in the Brooklyn music scene.

After a run into legal troubles, Timbers had to halt his accelerating career and spend some years away in a federal detention facility. This time allowed him to realize his need for self-reinvention, focusing on the positive in life while using his past to propel him forward.

Timbers returned to Virginia with a renewed sense of purpose and direction. After reconnecting with bass player Mike Echols, whom Timbers credits for a huge part of his newfound success, the singer/songwriter decided to form the Chris Timbers Band.

Together with Echols on bass and vocals, drummer Paul Dudley, saxophonist Eli Gonzalez, and lead guitarist Peter Thomas, Chris Timbers Band represents a style of music that’s a combination of country, contemporary jazz, blues, rock and “alternative soul.” Together they continue to revamp old songs while writing and recording new ones.

Timbers’s first solo album, Keep Moving, is a journey through his heart and soul. From the title track that speaks of reconnecting with old friends after being away, to songs like “War” which provide insight into his views on politics and the current state of the world, the album showcases Timbers’s diverse writing styles. His fans will hear rock undertones combined with a delicate mixture of R&B, country, and jazz and blues influences…and they’ll be glad to hear from him again.

Born from the rich culture of the Colorado mountains, The Runaway Grooms are bringing a refreshing take on contemporary jam band music. With pocket grooves, syncopated rhythms, and expansive tones, the band captures elements of funk and psychedelic rock while simultaneously celebrating traditional songwriting roots of Americana music. Dueling guitar solos, 3-part harmonies, and a screaming lap steel guitar, combine to create a unique soundscape that takes listeners through an experiential musical journey.

The Colorado based band formed when frontman, Adam Tobin, met guitarist, Zac Cialek, at employee housing for a ski resort. The two were joined by drummer and long time friend, Justin Bissett, shortly after and formed the original lineup of the band. Bassist/vocalist, Zach Gilliam, and keyboardist, Cody Scott, joined the band in November 2019. The addition of the new members helped catalyse the evolution of the band’s sound.

The band released their debut album ‘Tied to the Sun’ in March 2020 , The release was immediately followed by the global Coronavirus pandemic during which the band continued to develop and write music together. The newly written music contributed to the Groom’s sophomore album, Violet Lane, set to be released October 2021.
