Isaiah Headen, hailing from Northern Virginia and working in broadcast television, is a visionary force in the world of DC sketch comedy. A founding member of Bad Medicine, a DC-based sketch comedy troupe, he blends a theater background with his fervor for writing and producing, resulting in a unique comedic identity.
Drawing inspiration from surreal cartoons like Adventure Time and sitcoms like Futurama, Isaiah’s humor is a captivating blend of the whimsical and the profound. Since 2013, Bad Medicine has risen under his guidance to become an award-winning troupe that teaches and performs at the historic DC Improv Comedy Club. Bad Medicine has even taken its brand of live sketch comedy and short films to esteemed festivals such as San Francisco Sketchfest, the Chicago Sketch Comedy Festival, and the Atlanta Comedy Film Festival.
No prior experience is required, so don't worry if you're new to comedy. Isaiah's friendly and supportive teaching style will make sure everyone feels comfortable and confident.
