Birdtalker released their debut album One in 2018 which met critical acclaim,featuring their breakout single “Heavy,”which has now amassed over 90 millionstreams on Spotify alone. Rock Creek Kings is a D.C. based rock and roll band. With
a versatile sound employing powerful three-part harmonies
and mesmerizing saxophone and guitar solos, the band fuses
elements of pop, rock, and folk to create a unique sound.
Founded in 2017, RCK regularly plays throughout the
Northeast US with a heavy presence in the DMV and New
York Metro Regions. The band’s most recent headlining
show sold over 700 tickets at D.C.’s infamous Black Cat in
January 2024. They first became widely known in the DMV
area for their DIY outdoor shows on U.S. federal park land,
which were started to raise awareness for musicians and
venues directly impacted by the pandemic.
Rock Creek Kings perform as an acoustic trio and as a 5-7
piece rock band. The band brings a great energy, a
memorable experience and are always in tune with the
audience.
