Russell Taylor is a multi-faceted artist possessing a broad musical range heavily informed by the rich sounds of American cities he’s called home throughout his life (Philly, New York, and the DMV). He approaches his artistry with an old-school flair rooted in showmanship and a commitment to grow and connect with audiences authentically. Taylor's willingness to experiment with various sounds is one that has allowed him to navigate through various genres effortlessly.

The new single, "SHOW ME” is a perfect blend of pop production and warm soulfully seductive vocals.

Steeped in the rich musical tradition of Philadelphia, Russell absorbed the sounds and style of the artists that came before him as well as his peers. He has performed to sold out shows at the legendary Apollo Theater, was voted one of acclaimed VH1’s You Oughta Know Artists, and his music has featured on The Morning Buzz Live, Stop/Watch & shows like Marvel Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., The Fosters, Degrassi the Next Generation, Atlanta Exes and Black Ink Crew.

The definition of a true musical Alchemist, he transforms his inner thoughts, feelings and experiences into pure soul, shifting the energy in the room with his touching vocals, heartfelt songs and sincere lyrics. Through the arts of acting, producing his music and his series SoulVersations, directing plays and designing for his clothing brand The Blxcks, Russell is a polymath whose sole focus is to have you re-connect with the deepest part of your soul--to make you FEEL.
