About This Event
On March 22nd and 23rd, 1968, the legendary rock band The Doors performed at the East Village’s fabled Fillmore East.
Their performances are considered one of the most iconic in the band and the theater’s career — which is saying a lot, considering the near-mythic status each enjoys.
Pearl Street Warehouse is taking fans back to those days of psychedelic blues, experimental poetry and chaotic energy of their performance.
Also appearing are the cool blue of Janis Joplin as performed by The Janus Project and the jams of the Grateful Dead with Rays of Violet.
